Please reach us at alcovychiro@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Due to high patient volume, Alcovy Sports & Family Chiropractic is unable to accept personal injury cases (including workers' compensation, traffic incidents, and disabilities) at this time. Our priority is to serve our patients efficiently, and accepting personal injury cases impacts our ability to do so.
We appreciate your understanding and sincerely wish you a smooth path to healing. Thank you!
We’ve kept our prices the same for over five years because we understand the importance of accessible care. Your first visit with Dr. Schraub, which includes the initial exam and adjustment, is $100. If X-rays are needed, they can be taken during your initial visit for added convenience, and typically range from $80–$150 depending on the area being imaged. After your first visit, chiropractic adjustments are just $40 per visit. Additional therapies include MyACT therapy for $40 and decompression therapy for $50. We strive to provide high-quality care at an affordable price for all our patients.
At this time, we only accept Medicare Part B. We do not accept Medicare Advantage plans, including cases where Medicare Part B is listed as a secondary policy to a Medicare Advantage plan. Because we are not in network with Medicare Advantage, these plans override Medicare Part B, and patients with Medicare Advantage will be considered self-pay.
Many Medicare Advantage plans have copays that are similar to, or only slightly less than, our self-pay fees, making the cost very comparable. It is also important to note that Medicare does not cover many services provided in a chiropractic office, including the initial exam and X-rays.
Chiropractic care benefits everyone—even newborns! Our youngest patient was just 3 days old and continues to receive care today. Birth can be a traumatic experience for infants, and gentle chiropractic adjustments can help with conditions like colic, torticollis, and reflux, promoting overall well-being from the start.
At our office, you are not required to commit to a treatment plan. Dr. Schraub will provide recommendations based on your condition, but following them is entirely your choice. However, we believe that a monthly maintenance adjustment, even without pain, supports overall well-being and long-term health.
Yes, we welcome walk-ins for existing patients on Wednesdays as we continue to offer Walk-In Wednesdays following Dr. Purvis’s retirement. However, we do not accept walk-ins for new patients, as those visits are more detailed and require additional time, so they must be scheduled in advance. This helps ensure our scheduled appointments are not disrupted. We may try to accommodate walk-ins on other business days when possible, but wait times and availability cannot be guaranteed. On Wednesdays, we do our best to see walk-ins as efficiently as possible alongside our scheduled appointments, and we appreciate your patience if there is a wait.
Yes, we offer X-rays! After Dr. Schraub’s chiropractic exam, he will determine if X-rays are needed before your adjustment. In many cases, they aren’t required, but if they are, we provide them at an affordable rate. Many patients choose to get their X-rays in our office due to our low cost, ranging from $30 to $90.
Yes! We adjust all necessary areas in a single visit. Unlike some chiropractors who limit adjustments or charge extra for multiple areas, Dr. Schraub provides a full spine adjustment and realigns any extremities as needed—all in one session. We believe in delivering thorough care without added costs.
Yes! Dr. Schraub is one of the few chiropractors who is board-certified as a sports physician, making him an expert in adjusting all extremities, including elbows, knees, ankles, wrists, and more. You can trust that he’ll provide thorough care for your entire body, not just your spine.
